Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
FencSync (fencsync.com) is software for fence companies to lay out fences, quote jobs and schedule installs. It is run by FencSync LLC (formerly Fenceline Tech LLC; FencSync was called Fenceline until October 2026), 13559 W Pala Mesa Dr, Boise, ID 83713 ("FencSync", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
FencSync is used by fence companies ("companies") and the people who work for them ("users"). Companies also store information about their own customers ("customers"). For customer information, the fence company decides what to collect and why; we store and process it for them.
2. What we collect

3. How we use it
We use this information only to provide FencSync: sign-in and security, layouts, quotes, scheduling, notifications by email and text, billing, support, and improving the app. We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer information for our own marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run FencSync, and only what each one needs:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Netlify: hosts the website.
- Stripe: payments and invoices.
- Resend: sign-in codes and email notifications.
- Twilio: text messages.
- Map providers (Esri, CARTO, OpenStreetMap, Regrid and county map services): addresses and map positions are sent to show maps, find addresses and show property lines.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of selling or merging the business (the new owner would be bound by this policy).
5. Mobile numbers and text messages
Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with Twilio, to deliver the messages. Texting consent is not shared with any third party.
6. How long we keep it
We keep information while the company's account is open. When a company closes its account, we delete or anonymize its data within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer by law (for example, invoices). Opt-out records for texts are kept so we can keep honoring them.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Every company's data is kept separate from every other company's in the database. Sign-in supports two-factor codes. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell the affected companies and users as the law requires.
8. Your choices and rights
- Users can view and update their profile in the app.
- Customers should contact the fence company that has their information first. We will help the company respond.
- Anyone can ask us to see, correct or delete their information by emailing support@fencsync.com. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts (see the SMS Terms).
9. Children
FencSync is for businesses. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. For important changes we will also tell company admins in the app or by email.
